A new “New” guidebook has hit the streets and it is going to bring the heat, baby! The Wolverine published book will feature over 2400+ routes in the New River Gorge, Meadow River, Gauley River, Cotton Top and Summersville Lake areas. Twelve new crags will be included alongside glossy digital photos showcasing the best the Tri-Gorge area has to offer. The timing of this hotly anticipated guide is coinciding perfectly with a general resurgence in New River Gorge hype. A big thank you to all who helped compile the information and contributed to the formulation of this “New” book. Of course, a lot of the credit must go to our self-professed local stud, Mike Williams. Mikey has worked diligently compiling this magnum opus, loading it with his special brand of wit and exhaustive information. Yes, we kind of have a man-crush on Mikey, which is actually easy to understand, as he is built like a nineteen year old female cross-country star. This guy lays waste to hard NRG projects like Marion Jones all doped up and crushing the Olympics. I guess what we’re driving at is this: "Road Kill" Williams is the perfect guidebook author for the NRG’s comeuppance. He brings the appropriate amount of heartfelt, smart comedy and locally gleaned, intensive beta to this long awaited tome which is sure to highlight in good ole boy- backwoods style the "New" Hollywood West Virginia.
